AgReliant Genetics is currently seeking a Research Associate   at their research station located minutes from Chatham, Ontario.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include organization seed production in small isolated fields; installation, maintenance, pollination and harvest of corn breeding nurseries; planting and harvest of yield trials as well as taking field notes; supervising of work crews.
 
Education/Experience: 
Qualifications include a degree or diploma in Agriculture, possession of a Class A driving license or ability to obtain one and possession of a Pesticide Safety Certificate or willingness to obtain one.  Attention to detail and ability to function in a team setting. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and to walk fields.  Some overnight travel and extended working hours will be required during planting and harvest season.

Experience in corn breeding and/or yield trial testing will be considered an asset.
